Race package pickup
Race package pick up is at the Trek Store, 338 Catherine Street in Victoria on June 8 from 2-5. There is a mandatory Bike safety and helmet check at RPP.
Pre-Race
Please arrive with enough time to set up your transition and to familiarize yourself with the site layout.
Each participant will receive 2 stickers at RPP. The larger sticker is for the front of the helmet. The smaller sticker is for the bike stem. Bike numbers must match race numbers when collecting bikes from transition after the race.
Race briefing
In lieu of an in person briefing, race day information will be emailed to participants the day before the race. Emails will be sent to the addresses used during registration.

Race Day, June 9, 2024
Transition opens at 6:30 am on race day. The swim starts at 7:30 am. The swim will start from the oldest age group to the youngest. The Elite Race is the first group of the day. Athletes must be set up and out of transition 15 minutes before race start. Athletes will line up in a designated area to enter the pool.
Athletes will enter the pool on 5 second intervals. Each swimmer will complete the required number of laps for their age group by swimming up and down on the left side of the lane and crossing under the lane divider after each lap.
All athletes must be out of transition 15 minutes prior to the start of the swim. Only participants in the 6-7 and 8-9 age groups may have one adult assist with transition set up. No non-participants are allowed in transition during the race. Participants in the 6-7 and 8-9 year old categories may have one adult assist with transition setup but all adults must be out of transition 15 minutes before the start time for that heat.
The awards ceremony will take place at the venue immediately following the race. Athletes who podium in their age group must be present to collect their award. There will be no mail out of awards following the race.
Parking
A parking structure with 332 spaces, including eight for people with accessibility challenges, is located adjacent to CARSA on McKenzie Avenue. The overall parkade design is five levels (including one level underground) and includes 64 spaces for bicycles.
