Welcome to the Victoria Youth Triathlon
June 1, 2025
Vancouver Island’s Premier Youth Triathlon. A full range of youth distances from a 50m swim/1.5K bike/500m run to a 300m swim/9K bike/3K run depending on age.
2025 BC Super Series
The Victoria Youth Triathlon is part of the BC Super Series. The first heat of the day is a draft legal race for Junior Elite athletes.
A Change for 2025
Due to the uncertainty surrounding the McKinnon Pool closure at Uvic, we have decided to move the venue for the Victoria Youth Triathlon. Starting in 2025 the race will be held at Panorama Leisure Centre on the Saanich Peninsula. Panorama provides a great course completely contained within the Rec Centre property, making it very safe for participants and greatly reducing the impact on the surrounding community.
The Race Course
The swim will take place in the Panorama Recreation Centre Pool. The Bike course is a closed loop course completely contained within the Panorama Rec Centre parking lots. The run course is a loop course on the grass and pathways on the Rec Centre grounds.

Greater Victoria Youth Triathlon Series
The Victoria Youth Triathlon is part of the Kersten Orthodontics Greater Victoria Youth Triathlon Series, along with the HPR Youth Tri Westshore and the Tri of Compassion. Participants gain points towards an over-all series total. There are awards for everyone who completes all three races in the series.
At Panorama Recreation Centre
The Victoria Youth Triathlon is the premier youth triathlon on Vancouver Island. Join us on June 1st at the Panorama Recreation Centre for the 2025 Victoria Youth Triathlon, proudly brought to you by Human Powered Racing.
Represent your school. There is an award presented each year to the school with the greatest number of participants at the Victoria Youth Triathlon.
