Welcome to the Victoria Youth Triathlon
June 9, 2024
Vancouver Island’s Premier Youth Triathlon. A full range of youth distances from a 50m swim/1.5K bike/500m run to a 300m swim/9K bike/3K run depending on age.
2024 BC Super Series
The Victoria Youth Triathlon is part of the BC Super Series. The first heat of the day is a draft legal race for Junior Elite athletes.
The Race Course
The race course for the Victoria Youth Triathlon changed in 2023. In consultation with Triathlon BC we made the bike and run courses shorter and more technical. The bike course is now completely closed and contained mostly in lot 2 at UVic. The run course is a loop on sidewalks around the McKinnon building. This new course will be much better for spectators and more fun for participants.
These changes are in keeping with the direction of Junior Development for Triathlon BC and we’re excited for athletes to experience our new course. You can see the new course maps here.
Greater Victoria Youth Triathlon Series
The Victoria Youth Triathlon is part of the Kersten Orthodontics Greater Victoria Youth Triathlon Series, along with the HPR Youth Tri Westshore and the Tri of Compassion. Participants gain points towards an over-all series total. There are awards for everyone who completes all three races in the series.

The Victoria Youth Triathlon is the premier youth triathlon on Vancouver Island. Join us on June 9th at the University of Victoria for the 2024 Victoria Youth Triathlon, proudly brought to you by Human Powered Racing.
Represent your school. There is an award presented each year to the school with the greatest number of participants at the Victoria Youth Triathlon.
